Cetin Oguz and Carmen Cooper Oguz Annual Swimming & Diving Scholarship The scholarship was created in 2018 in recognition of Cetin Oguz, native of Istanbul, Turkey, who swam under the leadership of Coach Ronnie Mayers between the years of 1998-2001. Cetin Oguz represented the Turkish National Swimming Team more than100 times in Balkan and Junior/Senior European Championships throughout his athletic career. He held one Turkish national record, held more than ten DSU school records, and ranked 4th at the NCAA Division II National Championship while he was a member of the Delta State University Swimming and Diving team.
